In this second set of tests, we used CrystalDiskMark. This time round, we will also include test results of enabling and disabling the XFast utility.

Using ASmedia 3.0 connector, we tested the results and find them to be consistent with our prior tests, scoring 212.1MB/s for read sequential and 157MB/s for write sequential.

With XFast Turbo On, the results went up to 246MB/s for read sequential and 169.4MB/s for write sequential.

What happens when we hook up the docking station + ssd to the Intel USB 3.0 connector ?

With XFast Turbo Normal, the result is 43MB/s Read Seq and 40MB/s write. This result isn’t fantastic, it is just slightly faster than a traditional USB 2.0

Now, when we turn XFast turbo to ON,  we do see a slight improvment to 48MB/s Read and 46MBs write Seq.

Well, this is still very far from the 200MB/s that we managed to get from ASmedia controller. So what went wrong ?

Could it be the Intel USB 3.0 driver ? or is it something else ??

  1. Aw, this was a really nice post. In thought I would like to put in writing like this moreover – taking time and actual effort to make an excellent article… however what can I say… I procrastinate alot and under no circumstances appear to get one thing done.

  2. Vamos a poner como ejemplo el caso de superar el miedo a la penetración vaginal, porque la anal será parecida.
