3Dmark06 is tested in 1920×1080 mode using the ASUS EN4870x2 with Catalyst 10.8 drivers. From the chart, it can be seen that the results differ quite a bit from board to board. The ASRock X58 Extreme6 is faster than the Extreme3 by 200 points but nearly 100 points behind ASUS Rampage III Gene.

3Dmark Vantage

In 3Dmark Vantage (H) test, the ASRock X58 Extreme6 scores 12237 which is closer to the ASUS Rampage III Gene. The difference in scores could be due to BIOS optimisation on the newer boards.
