According to a report on Digitimes, Acer plans to launch a Chrome OS netbook by 2H 2010. It is said that they have been developing it since mid 2009. Acer’s Chairman JTWang said he is confident that they will be the first to launch such a netbook. They are the first to launch the first Android/WinXP combo netbook months ago.
