Jailbreakme 3.0 jail breaks iPad 2 iPhones on iOS 4.3.3 with ease

Posted on 07 July 2011 by bluetooth

There are several ways to jailbreak iOS devices, but most of them are time-consuming as they require you to connect your device to your computer for the jailbreak to complete. Thankfully, JailbreakMe 3.0, just like previous versions, allows easy jailbreaks by simply visiting the JailbreakMe.com website, thanks to a PDF exploit in Safari.

This method truly is the simplest way to jailbreak your device on iOS 4.3.3, and it’s fully untethered, meaning that you don’t have to plug your device into your computer in order to boot it into a jailbroken state. Adding to JailbeakMe’s advantages is its compatibility, since it works with every device on the face of the earth (running firmware 4.3.3), including the iPhone 4 and the iPad 2 (3G, CDMA & WiFi models). Support for iOS 4.3.1, 4.3.2 and 4.2.1 will be added later. iOS 5 betas are not supported.

Launch Safari and point it to http://jailbreakme.com. If everything goes as expected, you should see this on your browser:

Remember to patch it with PDF patcher 2 to plug the security exploilt.

Spirit the latest iPhone and iPad untethered jailbreak is now available

Posted on 03 May 2010 by bluetooth

What’s Spirit?
•Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch on the latest firmwares.
•Spirit is not a carrier unlock.
•If you currently are using a tethered jailbreak, you have to restore to use Spirit. Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone 3G or 3GS. (You can, however, restore to 3.1.2 if you have SHSH blobs for that version.)
Requirements
•Any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch on firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3, or 3.2.
•An activated device: one not stuck on the Connect to iTunes or Emergency Call screen.
•Any version of iTunes 9 (including 9.1.1).
•Syncing with iTunes before trying this highly recommended.
Note: On iPad, all this is still sort of beta. Some packages in Cydia, not designed for iPad, might screw up your system and require you to restore. Be careful. (And no, Cydia’s appearance is not final.)
Download for Windows http://spiritjb.com/win (run in Win98/ME compatibility mode)

First Public iPhone 3G OS 4.0 Beta Jailbreak Tool Redsn0w 0.9.5 Released

Posted on 16 April 2010 by bluetooth

Yes, you read the title correct the first working jailbreak tool Redsn0w 0.9.5 to jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 1 has been released by iPhone Dev team. However Redsn0w 0.9.5 is targeted at developers of jailbroken apps. It uses the same pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit that we’ve been using since the 2.x days.

After iPhone OS 4.0 announcement and number of iPhone hackers iPhone Dev Team, Geohotz, Comex, ih8sn0w etc has come up with proof video of successfully jailbreaking iPhone OS 4.0 but none of them provided ETA. There were number of guess that this jailbreak tool won’t come out until iPhone OS 4.0 is released.
But it looks iPhone Dev team has something different in their mind. We feel that, they might have one more exploit which can be used if Apple fixes this pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit in final iPhone OS 4.0 release. Till that time here is your chance to jailbreak iPhone 3G
 4.0 with Redsn0w 0.9.5.

By no means users should attempt to install iPhone OS 4.0 considering Redsn0w 0.9.5 jailbreak tool is out. Since you’ll need a properly-registered developer UDID with Apple to get past the activation screen. For similar reasons, there is no Windows version of this beta redsn0w.

Redsn0w 0.9.5 is supports
1. iPhone 3G only (for now)

2. Mac OSX only (for now)

3. iPhone 4.0 beta 1 firmware only (for now)

Download Redsn0w 0.9.5 for Mac OS X.
