WD My Cloud

Almost everyone holds a smartphone or a tablet these days. Multimedia contents take up most of the memory space on phones/tablets. A 16GB or even a 32GB on board storage is not enough. Usually, consumers will have to purchase and store the pictures by either transferring them to PC/MAC or store them on external microSD cards (android).

Another solution is to transfer all these images and videos to the Cloud storage e.g. Dropbox, Box, SkyDrive etc. Seriously, we couldn’t know where is your actual data being stored since the providers will never reveal. While these are free storage, you will incur more costs when you require more space. Secondly, one wouldn’t want to risk leaking your personal pictures if the servce provider gets hacked. One might also not feel comfortable transferring your word or excel files unless they are at least password protected or encrypted.
