Room to Room Seamless Music Playback from Gadgets to Speakers
SINGAPORE, March 11, 2015 — LG Electronics (LG) introduces the all-new LG Music Flow speakers in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. LG Music Flow Wi-Fi speakers (H7, H5 and H3) and the accompanying Music Flow Player application for smartphones form a convenient and smart Hi-Fi audio eco-system for the home. The Music Flow Wi-Fi Series lineup also includes two Wi-Fi Sound Bars (HS9 and HS7) that deliver rich, full and immersive audio, and Bluetooth P7 model with Sound Sync and compatibility with LG TVs for enhanced home entertainment.
LG Music Flow Wi-Fi Series
A unique feature of the Wi-Fi series is the LG Music Flow Player app, gives users full access and complete control of their digital music collections. Through the convenient search feature, music aficionados can find and play tracks stored on any internet-enabled device connected to LG Music Flow through the home Wi-Fi network. The app’s Mood Station feature can provide recommendations or automatically create a playlist to create a certain ambience.
Beyond home libraries, users can also stream music from service providers such as Spotify, Deezer, and TuneIn, and LG Music Flow devices will be among the first to be Google Cast Ready. Users simply tap the cast button in their favorite apps on Android, iOS or the web and select a Google Cast Ready speaker to get started.
Auto Music Play, Seamless Music within Network
Music Flow uses LG’s Range-of-FlowTM technology to automatically play music from mobile devices. Simply by bringing the device within one foot of the speaker, music playing on the device will start to play on the speaker. This function has removed the necessity of direct NFC tags. With the Auto Music Play feature, users listening to the music from the smartphones will be able to automatically listen to the music on the speakers without interruption as they travel from room to room.
LG Music Flow also employs mesh network technology and dual band Wi-Fi to ensure uninterrupted, crystal-clear HD music playback unlike competing systems that rely on a single access point which causes music interruptions and pauses whenever the signal level drops. By simply adding multiple speakers, users can employ Multi-room Mode to seamlessly play the same song across all connected speakers during parties or a different song in each room when family members are home. Use L/R Stereo Mode for a more immersive listening experience or Home Cinema Mode for an enhanced movie viewing experience.
In recent years, there has been an increase in consumer demand for superior sound in home audio devices as high-quality multimedia content becomes more available. LG Music Flow is the first system in its category to feature 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi playback across multiple inter-connectable devices that reproduces studio-like quality sound, far superior to a CD or digital MP3 music. LG Music Flow Bluetooth Series
The latest addition to LG’s suite of speakers is the Music Flow P7 Bluetooth speaker. This speaker comes equipped with the Multi Point Access function, which allows the device to connect with up to three Bluetooth devices at the same time and switch between them without any hassle. Users also can connect the Bluetooth speaker to a compatible LG TV for enriched sound (TV Sound Sync) or obtain powerful stereo sound by connecting two P7s to a TV or smartphone (Dual Play).
