The LG G6 can be considered as a variant of the LG V20, both offering a 5.7″ screen. From the benchmarks, the V20 is comparatively as fast as the G6, the G6 has better specifications in certain areas.
For example, the LG G6 has a larger resolution at 2880×1440 whereas V20 is 2560×1440. The G6 has dual 13 megapixel while the V20 is a 16 megapixel + 8 megapixel.
The G6 is lighter than the v20 and is water resistant but you can’t remove the battery. The V20 houses a removal battery.
The G6 supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision which the V20 doesn’t. This is something which the V20 doesn’t offer. The G6 also offers Google Assistant out of the box while the V20 doesn’t.
Personally, I like the water and dust resistance. One thing I notice is that when the screen is wet, the touch panel doesn’t seem to respond very well. The speakers can go muffled but will be Ok after the water droplet dries off.
