You have probably seen how LG has evolved in 2013 with the LG G2 with the rear-key, knock on, image stabiliser features. That didn’t really help as reports claim that the  sales of LG G2 fell below expectation.

It looks like LG has another weapon ready for year 2014 – the LG G3 which will succeed the G2. LG G2 Pricing at Amazon

According to Korea Herald, LG Electronics is testing prototype for it’s next G3 with fingerprint recognition just like Apple iPhone 5S. The fingerprint recognition technology would likely come as a swipe fingerprint sensor, different from the area-type system utilized on Apple’s iPhone 5S, according to the official.

Another report from ZDnet Korea, it is rumored to have a 1,440 x 2,560-pixel quad HD display (Quad HD is another name for 2K resolution) The rumor does not specify how large the display will be, but LG showed off a new 5.5-inch quad HD display this August. The G3 will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera and an eight-core processor. The G3 isn’t expected to launch until the second half of 2014.

It is also said that LG is preparing new wearable gadgets G-Arch and G-Health that is a smartwatch and a wristband that syncs with G3. The gadgets will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona in February next year. Other specifications of  LG G3 is that it will run on Android KitKat 4.4 and has a 2.2GHz Octa Core processor and Quad HD display.
