M1 and Liberty Wireless announce MVNO agreement
Agreement enables Liberty Wireless to offer nationwide
mobile service swiftly using M1’s mobile network
SINGAPORE, 8 July 2015 – M1 Limited (M1) today announced an agreement to enable Liberty Wireless to deliver voice, messaging and data access to its customers, using M1’s advanced mobile network.
Liberty Wireless is a Singapore-based mobile telecommunications company. Under its operating brand, Circles Asia, it aims to transform the regional telecommunications industry by introducing innovative packages and an unparalleled customer experience.
Through the agreement, Liberty Wireless will tap on M1’s mobile network to be the first mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to offer voice, messaging and data services to postpaid customers in Singapore. With its intelligent network layer, Circles Asia will focus on product and service innovation, spurring healthy competition in the industry while ensuring long-term sustainability for all stakeholders. Circles Asia is expected to begin offering its mobile service towards the end of 2015.
In addition to Liberty Wireless, M1 also hosts two MVNOs offering prepaid mobile services to consumers.
