If you are using the maxx plan, you can now try out the 5G with your maxx sim. Enjoy faster download and lower latency with 5G.
The Maxx plan runs on the 5G SA (Standalone) network, and will likely fall back to 5G NSA in areas with weaker 5G coverage.
🔹 For new subscribers
You’ll receive a 5G SIM card that connects directly to the 5G SA network. The SIM is marked with a “5G” logo on the back.
🔹 For existing users
If you’re still using a 4G SIM card, you’ll need to upgrade:
- Instant Activation: Switch to a 5G eSIM via the Maxx App > Account > SIM Management
- Physical SIM Swap: Visit a Maxx 5G SIM exchange roadshow with your current SIM and the NRIC/FIN ID used during registration
👉 The SIM upgrade is free of charge.
