Unigine Heaven, Valley and Superposition benchmarks of PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 570
The suite of 3 benchmarks from Unigine spans over 2 generations of the unigine engine for testing the performance from DX9 onwards. Superposition is the latest which is powered by the newest version of the unigine engine 2.0 and is more demanding than the previous 2 benchmarks.
The tests is done based on default settings. From the chart, it is very apparent that the AMD lags behind the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB.
In Valley, we get a similar result with NVIDIA leading the RX 570.
Interestingly, when we adjust the settings on Superposition to 1080P Extreme, the performance is very close to each other. When it is in 1080 High Mode, the performance falls behind again.
So, what could be the problem? Could it be a driver issue or NVIDIA specific optimization for Unigine or is it a limiting factor of both cards at extreme settings ??
