Lately, ASUS has been promoting their X99 chipset motherboards with their in house developed OC Socket. With this technology, ASUS is capable to lead the market by boosting the processor performance of up to 35%.
ASUS has lately found that this technology is leaked through supply chain manufacturers and has found it’s way into competitor’s X99 product. ASUS intends to pursue the matter and plans to sue the competitors for infringing it’s patents.
