Xiaomi is one of the first Chinese brands to make it’s inroads into the international market after it captured the Chinese market years ago. Although Xiaomi now offers higher end products including those powered by Snapdragon 835, the Redmi brand is still around which offers affordable mid range smartphones which is made available to the masses.e.g Redmi 5 plus

Today, we are going to take a look at it’s Redmi 5 Plus smartphone. The Redmi 5 plus is good in specifications which is matchable to some of the big brands. Big brands were featuring a 18:9 screen for their flagship products. You can now do the same with Redmi 5 Plus 18:9 wide screen.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdraon 625 processor and Adreno 506 graphics processor, it is powerful enough to power most games.

The Redmi 5 Plus comes in 2 variants with ram of 3/32 GB or 4/64 GB. The front camera is a 5 megapixel with flash for clearer selfies in dark environments. The back camera is a 12 megapixel f/2.2 with dual flashlight for better image quality. The camera supports different shooting modes to make your content more varied. Make panoramas, or shots in moving using the Burst Mode. Also the camera supports PDAF and HDR technologies.

The Redmi Plus has a 4000mAh which allows you to game or watch your favourite movie without a recharge for hours longer than competitor phones.

The smartphone  support dual SIM card which you could you two operators in 3G/4G. Other phones can only support 1 SIM in 2G while the other in 4G. In addition, Redmi 5 Plus works with  VoLTE for better voice quality. Some manufacturers disable VoLTE but only enable it on their high end models only.
