From today, Transferwise can receive funds via PayNow. PayNow is a Singapore service which links your NRIC or mobile number to your bank account.
That means Singapore residents with a local bank account can receive funds directly from overseas senders by simply sharing their names and mobile numbers to the senders, while businesses will provide their names and PayNow unique entity numbers, without having to exchange bank details.
Do note that fees are applicable for transfer of funds.
