The ASRock ION 330HT-BD just like it’s predecessor is based on Intel Atom N330 processor clocked at 1.6GHz with NVIDIA ION chipset. The ION chipset which is basically a reinvention of the defunct MCP7A comes into play. This chipset is known as GeForce 9400M and comes with GPU Shader clock of 1.1GHz. It supports DX10, OpenGL 2.1, NVIDIA® CUDA™ and PhysX™ games with ease. With ION chipset, HD playback is not an issue at all. With this new model, ASRock has added in more features. One of the important change is the adoption of EuP 2.0. With the help of the Nuvoton NCT6775F IC, these two models have achieved the EuP2.0 standard which indicates the total AC power consumption of the completed system is under 0.5W in off mode.  ASRock NetTop also pass the Energy Star 5.0 standard, in order to avoid unnecessary power consumption.

Kingston Digital Ships Secure, Affordable USB Flash Drive
DataTraveler Locker+ Allows Portable Security at Lower Cost

Hsinchu, Taiwan – (November 19, 2009) Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced the release of the DataTraveler Locker+ USB Flash drive. The DataTraveler Locker+ allows companies of any size to secure mobile data with the ease and confidence of knowing that their data is encrypted and safe. The DataTraveler Locker+ also comes at a lower cost in times of shrinking IT budgets, making it ideal for budget-conscious companies.

Kingston created this drive to address the rise in data loss and theft which has been a growing problem with expensive consequences. This device gives companies a solution that is not only affordable but provides peace of mind in securing mobile data,” said Nathan Su, Flash Memory Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston. “The DataTraveler Locker+ encrypts 100 percent of the contents and is available at a price point that is very attractive for all entities looking to comply with corporate security policies.”

Data on the Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ is secured with 256-bit hardware-based AES encryption. Access to the drive’s contents is through a simple to use interface requiring a complex password. The likelihood of successful brute force attacks on the DataTraveler Locker+ is reduced as the drive locks down and reformats after 10 incorrect password attempts.

The 100 percent encrypted DataTraveler Locker+ ships in up to 32GB capacity. For companies in need of a partitionable area on the USB drive for public sharing (e.g., within an office setting), Kingston offers the DataTraveler Locker which allows both a public and encrypted zone. Kingston also ships the DataTraveler Vault – Privacy Edition for enterprise and government customers requiring a speedier, more robust Flash drive. It is also waterproof and Trade Agreements Act-compliant. Kingston DataTraveler USB drives are backed by a five-year warranty and free tech support. According to distributors we spoke to. Most of them have placed orders for the Radeon HD 5970 but till today, a day after the official launch, the products are no where to be seen on the shelves in Asia. Those who have it on hands probably bought it from overseas.

It seems that the stocks are not enough to fulfill the orders. In fact, in Japan, only two brands have stocks in stores.

If you are a distributor in Asia region (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Japan, Korea), please drop us an e-mail when retail stocks are in for sale.
