Android 11 official was released to the public just a few days ago. While some hang on to update, most of us will just update it to the latest version with security path.
Reports have surface that the official Android 11 seems to drain the Pixel 2 or 3 devices way faster than in Android 10.
Some did a full reset of the phone or rebooting the phone into safe mode didn’t help. Some felt that the phone felt warmer than before in normal usage.
A guy on the support forum used ADB and suspect that the problem could be due to the module com.google.android.providers.media.module which is eating up CPU cycles.
