Video Demonstration of docking the PadFone Infinity onto the docking station
My first impression of this product is that it is innovative and it impressed me. In fact, I was expecting a low powered processor embedded within the pad. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The Infinity station is just a dock. Without the smartphone which holds the processor into the slit, the pad won’t operate. Perhaps, ASUS can consider having a low speed processor built into the pad so that it can also operate as an independent tablet.
The 10.1″ pad is a fingerprint magnet. Perhaps, ASUS can think of a better material for it’s 10.1″ screen.
The phone will go on sale from 1st June with Telco bundle at M1 and Starhub.
