The first water proof smartphone came from Sony. HTC followed and now LG. LG is expected to release their new Optimus GJ, a waterproof phone. It will run on a quad-core processor, 4.7-inch TrueHD IPS Plus display and a 13-megapixel camera, supporting Zerogap Touch technology.
Samsung Electronics is also reportedly to roll out a waterproof model, the Galaxy S4 Active with hardware specifications comparable to those of the Galaxy S4, said the sources.
