Motherboard layout
The back panel comprises of PS/2 keyboard, 6 USB ports, D-SUB, DVI-D, HDMI, GbE and audio ports.
On the top left corner of the motherboard, we can see the 3 full length PCIe 3.0 slots that supports CrossFireX.

On the edge of the board is the ALC898 audio codec with dedicated circuitry for the 7.1 CH audio.
On the bottom left of the mainboard are 6 SATA 6Gbps ports supporting RAID 0,1,5,10. There is also a front USB 3.0 connector, debug led, Power On/off , reset switches and the front panel connectors.
On the bottom right of the mainboard are 4 DIMM slots supporting up to DDR3-2800+ (OC).
On the right hand corner of the board is the LGA1150 CPU socket with surrounding components including the VRM, DisplayPort chipset, GbE chipset etc.
Biostar is I guess the most underrated motherboard vendors out there. Could have all the features a famous board has but at a very affordable price.
