Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) plans to launch several new notebooks and netbooks at at Computex 2010, according to the company.
ECS will showcase three 10.1-inch netbooks, the V10IS1, V10IS2 and T10IL, featuring Intel’s Atom processor as well as built-in Bluetooth, WiMAX and HSUPA (3.75G) communication modules.
The company also has a product line, the CMPC, for netbooks that are designed to help children learn. The company’s CMPC E11IS will feature an Intel Atom processor, 10.1-inch panel, a 160GB hard drive or 32GB solid state drive (SSD), 1.3-megapixel webcam, built-in Wi-Fi/WiMAX modules, and a battery that allows nine hours of running time.
For the notebook segment, ECS will have two ultra-thin models, the T21 (11.6-inch) and T30 (13.3-inch) which use Intel’s ultra low voltage platform. The company will also showcase three traditional notebooks, the C42II (14-inch), C52II (15.6-inch) and R42II (14-inch) based on Intel’s Calpella platform.
