I was browsing the DJI website when I spotted a not-so-mysterious teaser pointing directly to the heavily anticipated DJI Osmo 360 II. The page—which only shows up if your region is set to Hong Kong—is titled “All Angles. All Epic.” and lists a date of August 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM GMT.
What throws me off is how this seems to conflict with other teasers floating around. A second teaser posted on DJI’s Instagram claims the “DJI Osmo 360 II will be available for pre-order starting at 8:00PM on August 7th” (translated via Google Lens). That actually aligns with a post from Chinese social media reported by Asobinet, which claimed the camera would be unveiled on August 7th. Yet, as of right now, I haven’t seen any further details or official follow-ups on that earlier date.
That second Instagram teaser itself is a showreel of impressive 360 footage shot on the Osmo 360 II, packed with action-heavy POV clips of mountain biking, dancing, and skiing, before wrapping up with a simple “Coming soon.” An even earlier teaser uses the same clip as the Hong Kong landing page: it starts with a top-down view of a square sensor, pulling back to reveal the lens and camera body, with a fisheye lens graphic overlaying the top.
Having tested the original Osmo 360 before, I’m genuinely excited to see where they take this line. DJI hasn’t officially dropped the spec sheet yet, but I’m expecting some serious upgrades over the original’s already wild 8K/50p and 6K/60p video, 120MP panoramic photos, and 105GB of built-in storage. In the meantime, the comment section is having a field day with wildly impossible wishlist specs—my personal favorite being a commenter “hoping for” 24K resolution, 2000fps open gate, and a global shutter.
