Eight Telecom has revised its 5G strategy and refreshed its plan lineup, introducing two new 5G plans priced at $18 and $14.80.
However, 5G access is only available for plans priced above $14.80 — contrary to earlier expectations that it would be extended to the $10+ tiers.
At the moment, M1’s Maxx continues to hold the title of the most competitive 5G (SA) plan in the market. Meanwhile, several Singtel MVNOs are offering port-in promotions on their sub-$15 plans, which include 3 months of complimentary 5G (SA) access.

Giga, another sub-brand under StarHub, offers 5G plans priced at $18.33 and $15.28. It’s rather unusual to see two sub-brands from the same company competing directly for the same pool of customers.
