Eight telecom revamps plan with 228 GB of data shared between Singapore and Malaysia

It didn’t come as a surprise as Eight telecom followed SIMBA Telecom by updating it’s plan to include a shared data roam with Malaysia.

In other words, the $8 plan that comes with 228 GB can be used in locally and in Malaysia. It also comes with 10 GB APAC Roaming, 2 GB Intl Roaming, 588 min local talk time, 288 minutes of IDD, 88 minutes of IDD specifically for Myanmar, and 88 local SMS.

SIMBA Telecom started this SG-MY data share for all it’s plan earlier this month.

As for the $18 Triple Eight plan, it now comes with 588 GB Local data and 228 GB of Malaysia Roaming, 12 GB APAC Roaming, 6 GB Intl Roaming, 888 minutes of talk time, 388 minutes of IDD and 88 minutes of IDD specifically for Myanmar. 188 SMS.

With such a big data bundle you will no longer need to purchase local data SIM in Malaysia anymore.
