It’s no surprise to many, as rumours have long suggested that Eight Telecom, a sub-brand of StarHub, plans to launch an affordable 10Gbps fibre broadband service.
From the looks of it, the move seems aimed squarely at competing with Simba’s offerings.
Pricing details have yet to be revealed, but existing Eight customers can already register their interest on the official website.
