Futuremark 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage benchmarks on the ASRock 880G Extreme3
Bluetooth 24 Apr 2010
In 3Dmark06, we test in the internal GPU at default speed of 560MHz as compared to the ASUS 890GX board running at 700MHz. Although we mentioned before the difference between the two chipsets are not much of a difference, the AMD 880G seems to be more overclockable. In fact, 1GHz is easily attainable without anygraphic tearing up during the benchmarking. That is not the case or the 890GX.
In the GPU oc test, we set the bar higher and pushed the 880G to GPU of 1GHz and sideport memory at 1640MHz. As we can see from the chart, with the GPU and Sideport raised higher, the ASRock 880G obtaied a pretty good score of 2637 marks in comparison to 2508 on the ASUS 890GX. with the 4 cores enabled, it boosted the scor by anoter 20 points to 2650.
In 3DMark Vantage, the same tests are used and we see a similar sitation here. The ASRock 880G Extreme3 scored 3944 marks in comparison to the 3563 by the ASUS M4a89GTD Pro when overclocked. With the 4th core enabeld, we see the score soar to E4095 on the ASRock 880G Extreme3. That is a pretty amazing score i would say from an integrated graphics board.
The 880 boards run well….
😉
No display port? Really?
