SiSoft Sandra 2011b Benchmarks
Both systems are tested with SiSoft Sandra 2011b benchmarks in areas of memory, Arithmetic, multimedia and media transcoding.
There are three sets of numbers, the first is the ION 330 system, the second is the Gigabyte E350N-USB3 running at default and the third is the E350N-USB3 running in overclock state of 1.76GHz with GPU core o/c to 2GHz.
From the chart below, we can see that in memory benchmarks, the Gigabyte E350N-USB3 isn’t that far off against the ION system. This could be due to the fact that it runs on DDR3-1333 while the ION system runs on DDR2-800. Nevertheless, the score scales up to 2.77GB/s when we o/c the system CPU CLK to 110 x 16 = 1.76GHz.
The same applies to Arithemetic and multimedia test. The AMD E350 seems to outperform the similary clocked Atom processor. The same goes for Media transcoding.
