The Google Pixel 10a has officially arrived. Unveiled just last night, this new addition to the Pixel family is coming to Singapore on 5 March 2026, bringing Google’s flagship AI intelligence and a pro-grade camera to a more accessible price point.

Starting at SGD$799, the Pixel 10a is designed to be the smartest “A-series” phone yet.

Intelligence at Its Core

Powered by the Google Tensor G4 chip, the Pixel 10a is built to run Google’s most advanced AI models. With Gemini integrated directly into the experience, you’ll get faster, more intuitive responses to help you tackle your day.

Key Upgrades to Look Forward To:

  • Pro-Level Photography: For the first time on an A-series device, enjoy Auto Best Take and Camera Coach to ensure every shot is perfectly framed and everyone looks their best.
  • Enhanced Durability: A more rugged design featuring improved scratch and drop resistance for peace of mind.
  • Brilliant Display: A significantly brighter screen that stays vibrant and easy to read, even under the midday Singapore sun.
  • All-Day Power: Enjoy over 30 hours of battery life with faster charging capabilities to keep you going.
  • Advanced Safety: The Pixel 10a introduces Satellite SOS, helping you connect to emergency services even when you’re off the grid.

Where to Buy

You can find the Pixel 10a online and in-stores starting 5 March 2026 at the following retailers:

Choosing between the Pixel 10a and last year’s Pixel 9a is a bit like choosing between two very similar siblings. Because the Pixel 9a was released earlier in 2025 with the Tensor G4 chip, the Pixel 10a is a “refinement” year rather than a total overhaul.

Here is how the new Pixel 10a stacks up against the Pixel 9a in Singapore.

What’s Actually New?

  1. A Toughened Build: The shift to Gorilla Glass 7i is the biggest physical upgrade. It’s significantly more resistant to the scratches and drops that often plague the older Gorilla Glass 3 found on the 9a.
  2. Brighter for Outdoors: While both have 6.3-inch screens, the 10a hits 3,000 nits of peak brightness. This makes a noticeable difference when you’re trying to use Google Maps or read messages under the harsh Singapore sun.
  3. Faster “Juice Up”: The 10a moves to 30W wired charging (up from 23W). It won’t set speed records, but it will get you back to 50% battery noticeably faster than the previous model.
  4. The “Safety Net”: The addition of Satellite SOS is a first for the A-series. It’s a great “peace of mind” feature if you travel or hike in areas with poor cellular reception.
  5. Exclusive Camera AI: Software-wise, the 10a introduces Auto Best Take and Camera Coach, which were previously reserved for the more expensive flagship models.

The Verdict

Since the price remains identical at S$799, the Pixel 10a is the clear choice if you are buying new today. However, because they share the same Tensor G4 chip and camera hardware, if you already own a Pixel 9a, there is very little reason to upgrade this year.
