Google’s Android 3.0 ‘Honeycomb’ Just for Tablets and runs faster than iPad

On Wednesday, Google launched it’s honeycomb and it’s web store. It is confirmed that Honeycomb is an OS for tablet. As for whether it will make it to phones, spokesman Andrew Kovacs said no but features will arrive on phones over time.

Intial reactions by developers also claimed that the performance on the Motorola Xoom is way better than the Apple iPad.

Some features that appear on the new Android 3.0 includes Gmail drag and drop folder, movie studio – video editing application.
