Honor Magic 8 Series: A Blend of Power, Elegance & Intelligence

Honor has officially lifted the veil on its Magic 8 Series, setting new benchmarks for design, performance, and AI integration. The lineup includes the Magic 8, starting at RMB 4,499 (~SGD 875), and the Magic 8 Pro, priced from RMB 5,699 (~SGD 1,110).

Design & Colors

Both Magic 8 models share a sleek and modern aesthetic, though they stand apart in texture and detail.

  • Magic 8 – Features a refined, elegant finish with a broader camera frame housed in a rounded-square module. It’s available in Rising Sun Gold, Celadon Gaze, Snowy White, and Velvet Black. The display boasts an ultra-narrow 1.18mm flat bezel, emphasizing symmetry and precision.
  • Magic 8 Pro – Steps it up with a matte premium texture and subtly angular corners for a more professional vibe. Its color palette includes Rising Sun Gold Sand (signature), Azure Blue, Snow White, and Velvet Black.

Display

The Magic 8 Pro shines—literally—with a 6.71-inch OLED quad-curved display offering:

  • 2808×1256 resolution
  • 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate (1–120Hz)
  • 6000-nit peak brightness
  • 4320Hz PWM dimming
  • AI Eye Protection 2.0
  • Giant Rhino Glass for added durability

This combination delivers a cinematic, smooth, and eye-friendly viewing experience—whether you’re gaming, streaming, or editing photos.

Performance

Under the hood, both models are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built for raw speed and efficiency. Expect:

  • Dual prime cores up to 4.6GHz
  • 37% performance boost, 35% better efficiency, and 20% lower power use

This ensures sustained performance even during heavy multitasking, gaming marathons, or video rendering.

Camera System (Magic 8 Pro)

The Magic 8 Pro boasts an impressive triple-camera setup:

  • 50MP main lens (f/1.6)
  • 50MP ultra-wide
  • 200MP telephoto with a 1/1.4″ sensor and CIPA 5.5 anti-shake

Thanks to the 200MP Super Night Telephoto and AiMAGE Night God Engine, low-light shots now feature up to 10× more clarity and AI-driven color tuning for lifelike details.

AI & Software

Running on MagicOS 10 (Android 16), both phones introduce the YOYO AI assistant — now more capable than ever.

  • Manages daily tasks like shopping, bookings, and health tracking
  • Learns your routines via Magic Model 3.0, adapting to habits for faster responses
  • Features MCP AI architecture and a dedicated AI key for instant access to intelligent tools

Battery & Charging

  • Magic 8: 7000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging
  • Magic 8 Pro: 7200mAh battery with blazing 120W SuperCharge

Both models use silicon-carbon battery technology, ensuring higher efficiency and longevity — even with slightly smaller capacities compared to typical flagships.
