Huawei launches P10 and P10 plus in Singapore at Orchard ION [2 pages]

Huawei Singapore launched it’s P10 and P10 Plus smartphones in Singapore held at Basement 4 of Orchard ION. At the event, press media and friends were invited to hands on the phones and experience the Leica powered phones.
Hosted at ION Orchard, the event kicked off with a welcome address by Mr Cheng who highlighted the key milestones of the brand leading up to the launch of the new P series smartphones. A combination of cutting-edge hardware and advancements in software, the HUAWEI P10 and HUAWEI P10 PLUS are co-engineered with Leica to enhance portrait photography and come in a suite of unique colours developed in partnership with Pantone Color Institute™. Following the local unveil of the HUAWEI P10 and HUAWEI P10 PLUS, media and guests then heard from Mr Clement Wong, Director, Product Marketing, Huawei CBG, who presented the improved dual-camera Leica system and brand partnerships behind the new smartphones.
Mr Cheng and Mr Wong were then joined by Datuk Professor Jimmy Choo, OBE and Mr Kaul for a panel discussion on the key capabilities of the Huawei P series – Style, Speed and Shots. Amongst the features discussed: the world’s first Hyper Diamond-Cut finishing, two new on-trend colours created together with Pantone, enhanced performance thanks to the new Huawei Ultra Memory, and improved camera systems co-engineered with Leica.
In addition to product bars where guests could test and experience the new HUAWEI P10 and HUAWEI P10 PLUS, the event also featured a portraits gallery and two pop-up photography studios. The gallery showcased portraits shot by world-renowned photographers using the new P series smartphones, and guests could take their cover shots with the new HUAWEI P10 and HUAWEI P10 PLUS at the studios.
The local launch event will be made open to public on 1 and 2 April 2017 at the ION Orchard. Members of the public are welcome to experience the new HUAWEI P10 and HUAWEI P10 PLUS, as well as participate in a social media photography competition for a chance to win a new HUAWEI P10 PLUS each day.
