Japanese Apple fans are already queuing up outside Tokyo Apple store for the iPhone 6 whereas in Singapore, pre-orders can be made for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus from M1, Singtel and Starhub online.
In terms of features, it is quite surprising that Apple LTE is maxed at 150Mbps while some other players already support 300Mbps. If we were to compare the camera features, it lags behind the Sony Xperia Z. For example, the Xperia Z3 packs an impressive 20.7-megapixel camera versus a 8 megapixel on the iPhone 6. The Xperia Z3 or Z2 can take 4K videos while the iPhone 6 is only capable for 1080P.
Although the new phones announced aren’t much of a technology breakthrough, Apple is known to resurrect features e.g. the NFC. Apple will reach another milestone if they can turn NFC payments a reality with it’s ease of use and security.
