M1 Data Passport extended to even more destinations

  • Unique value-added service enables customers to use existing data bundles overseas
  • Now available in 11 destinations with Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan added

 

SINGAPORE, 31 August 2015 – M1 Limited (M1) customers can now use their existing M1 data bundles in even more overseas destinations.

First launched in July, the unique M1 Data Passport value-added service is now available in an additional five destinations: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The new destinations, together with the six Data Passport launch countries of Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and the United States, will enable postpaid customers to use their data bundles in 11 overseas destinations at a monthly subscription of S$10 per country.

Customers who exceed their data bundles pay local excess data usage rates of S$10.70/GB, capped at S$188.32 per month. A S$2 one-time activation fee applies, with an additional S$5 for multi-SIM users.
