According to Downdector.sg, all 3 local telco’s fibre broadband service are partially down.
Customers from the three telcos have come online in various facebook pages complaining about their inability to access their Fibre broadband service. Services started to break down around 6 pm and is affecting customers in different parts of Singapore.
Affected areas include Sembawang, Marsiling, Jurong West, Buangkok, Tanjong Pagar, Yishun, Tampinese, Hougang, Bukit Batok.
As at 7.30pm, Downdetector has reports of Singtel and Starhub service disruption. It has received about 800 and 500 complains so far. M1 has received a peak of 11,000 cases so far.
Is this due to too much network traffic as everyone is at home streaming their netflix videos that killed some of the servers?
