Nokia is finally going to launch an Android smartphone known as Nokia X. It will be meant for emerging markets and be priced at a low of USD 110. This phone will be positioned between Asha 503 and Lumia 525.
According to reports from various sources, the smartphone spots a 4 inch (854 x 480) screen and is powered by Qualcomm 1GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 processor. It comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion. It also has a 5 megapixel camera and dual SIM slot support. The more interesting fact about this new entrant is that it is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat and Microsoft-Nokia does not block access to the Google Play Store.
Nokia will showcase the new phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Nokia press event takes place on February 24th.
