Starting at a highly competitive early-bird price of just S$848 to S$899, it is currently the most affordable smartphone powered by the next-gen Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform.
Other than raw performance, it is boosted with a dedicated VisionBoost D8 chipset, which features a GEX module and pre-trained AI models to upscale graphics and enhance image details in real-time. To ensure peak performance remains stable, POCO has implemented WildBoost Optimisation to proactively prevent frame drops and a massive 6700mm² 3D dual-channel IceLoop cooling system that effectively manages heat from both the SoC and the camera module during intense gaming sessions.
POCO F8 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch 120Hz POCO HyperRGB AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. As for audio, it has a 2.1-channel audio system co-tuned by Bose. By integrating symmetrical stereo speakers with an independent 1620 subwoofer, POCO has overcome the traditional constraints of smartphone design to deliver deep bass, clear vocals, and a wide soundstage previously unheard of in a mobile device.
Photography on the F8 Ultra is driven by a professional triple 50MP camera system. The main shooter camera uses the Light Fusion 950 sensor with a large 1/1.31″ size, an ƒ/1.67 aperture, and OIS to capture stunning detail in any lighting. For the first time, POCO introduces a 5x periscope telephoto lens with a 115mm equivalent focal length and OIS, bringing distant beauty within reach from as close as 30cm to infinity. The 50MP ultra-wide camera rounds out the setup with 4K video support. For video, it support up to 8K/30. It also can record in HDR10+ and Log (in professional mode).
The F8 Ultra has a high-energy-density 6500mAh silicon-carbon dual-cell battery, that can retain over 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles. Charging is both ultrafast and safe, with 100W wired HyperCharge reaching 100% in just 38 minutes and 50W wireless HyperCharge hitting 50% in 31 minutes. The device also supports the 100W PPS universal protocol for broad charger compatibility.
Network performace is improved with Xiaomi Surge T1S and T1+ signal enhancement chips. Astral Communication is supported on this phone for emergency offline calling.
It is also IP68 dust and water resistance.
