The board is ATX form factor. It has 2 PCI and 4 PCIe full length slots which can run Quad CrossFireX. Behind the PCIe slot is the audio codec and GbE controller. To the right is the power phase attached with a heatpipe. At the centre of the board resides the AMD 890FX chipset.
ON the bottom left of the board, we can see a VIA chipset for 1394, There is also a power on and clear cmos switch. There is an IDE channel for legacy drives. To the right we can find the SB850 under a heatsink, it controls the 6 SATA III 6Gbps ports (5 on the front and 1 back as eSATA). To the right are 4 DIMM slots dual channel DDR3 is suported.
At the back panel, we can see the PS2 mouse and keyboard ports. There is a SPDIF digital and coaxial out. Other than that we see 6 USB ports, 1394, eSATA and audio ports.
