Previously, we reported that SIMBA mobile and broadband users have been experiencing slower speeds when testing with various speedtest servers. Interestingly, we often see better results when testing 4G or 5G using Malaysian servers.
The reasons behind these discrepancies are unclear, but it’s evident that different speedtest servers are optimized for their own users rather than for those from others. The data supports this observation.
With the introduction of SIMBA own speedtest server, you can now get a more accurate assessment of your connection speed. Testing on our dedicated server ensures a direct connection, eliminating the routing issues that can affect results.
We do noticed that the SIMBA speedtest server selection is available on mobile but is not available on the web or windows x64 version of the app.
