As competiton intensifies, SIMBA Telecom reacted with changes to it’s existing plans by adding more perks. The first noticeable change is the Seniors plan. It now includes shared roaming in Thailand that was only available in the higher price plans. This is probably in response to the hi! Singtel plan announced a few days ago. As usual, the good thing abt SIMBA plan is it’s free voice roaming which Singtel does not offer

All plans main data are now upsized & expanded to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong which shares your data allocation for Singapore.

APAC upgraded to include more countries like China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond. It now comes in APAC (7 countries) or APAC (15 countries).

APAC (7 countries) include Australia, Bangladesh, China, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.

APAC (15 countries) include Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Laos, Macau, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam

There is also 400mins to 700 mins of IDD to 20+ countries included that covers India, Bangladesh, China, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, and more. SIMBA Mobile Plans are bundled with outgoing minutes to 20+ Countries (IDD) as follow: Australia*, Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, Canada*, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland*, Israel*, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar*, New Zealand, Norway*, Philippines*, Romania*, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, USA.

The former $39 for 90 days plan now has the similar plan structure at S$15/30 days. So, for those who do not want to commit a 90 days cycle can choose this plan. YOu can choose the $39/90 days and that will save you 13%.

Likewise, the $12 plan now get a 90 days package, you pay just $30 per 90 days instead of $12 per 30 days. It is a saving of 16%. The offering is exactly the same as the 30 days plan.

So far, there is no update on the merger news but i hope to see it happen so that SIMBA users and M1 users can tap on each other’s network to give users better coverage.
