TPG SIMBA being the 4th telco in Singapore has been running 5G trials for sometime. Last year, we tested but it didn’t work.
This time round, we managed to get it to detect the 5G NSA network at Marina Bay Sands right inside the The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
The speed isn’t fantastic, closing to around 160 Mbps which is probably achievable by a 4G+ 2CA network.
Anyway, the 5G NSA network is LIVE and you can test it there with your 5G approved devices.
