The ViewPad 10s 10.1″ HD Entertainment Smart Tablet powered by NVIDIA TEGRA2 is spotted on sale at the IT SHOW 2011 now held at SUNTEC Singapore.

This Android 2.2 Tablet is powered by Tegra 250 Dual Core Cotex mobile processor at 1GHz. It has a 10.1″ (1024×600) capacitive multi touch LED backlight screen. It supports 1080p full HD video playback with HDMI connectivity.

One thing nice about it is that it supports Flash 10.1 and can be powered up to 10 hrs of usage. It weighs 730g and is ultra slim at 14.5mm thick.

It is priced at S$599 and includes a 16GB microSD card free.

We tested the sample set at the booth and is pleasantly surprise by the lucid operation of the tablet. We browsed through the icons and were disappointed that Android Market doesn’t come with it. We asked the ViewSonic people, they said that require licensing fees and they chose to leave it out. Smart users have ways to go around it though. WE also asked if there are plans to upgrade it to Android 2.3 or later. The sales people aren’t certain if an upgrade will be made available.

Another model at the booth is Viewpad 10. It is a 10″ Tablet with Dual OS – Windows 7 Home Premium and Android. You can dual boot into either OS as it is powered by Intel ATOM N455. It has GB DDR3 and 16G SSD. It supports WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and has a 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD card reader and weighs 825g. It is priced at S$799.
