Today, Xiaomi officially launches its Xiaomi 14T series smartphone, showcasing exceptional night photography capabilities and a strong focus on AI-driven features.
For those familiar with the Google Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9, and Samsung S24 series, you’ll be pleased to know that key Google AI features, such as Circle to Search and Gemini Advance, are now available on the Xiaomi 14T series as well.

Performance
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor ensures blazing-fast, all-big-core performance, perfect for multitasking and generative AI applications. Coupled with Xiaomi HyperOS and advanced AI features, the phone adapts to your usage, making every interaction smoother and smarter. The Dimensity 9300+ is a high performance 4nm processor and matches if not better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
AI features
The Xiaomi 14T series is packed with AI-powered features. It includes Google Gemini, Google’s persona AI assistant, which helps users brainstorm, write, and answer questions. You can also activate Gemini Live for hands-free conversations with multiple voice options.
A new feature called “Circle to Search” has been added to the Xiaomi 14T, first seen on Samsung and later on the Pixel 8 Pro. It allows users to quickly search by pressing the bar at the bottom of the screen and circling the area they want to search. This feature can identify music playing on the device and performs advanced image, text, and voice recognition.
In addition, Xiaomi 14T includes AI-powered features driven by Xiaomi HyperOS, designed to boost productivity and creativity.
Productivity AI Features
- AI Interpreter: A useful tool for travelers, it detects spoken languages and translates them live. In face-to-face mode, both speakers can see the live translations, making conversations across different languages possible.
- AI Notes: Developed with work efficiency in mind, AI Notes summarizes content, helps with layout, proofreading, and translation, ensuring no details are missed when taking notes.
- AI Recorder: This tool translates, identifies speakers, and generates summaries, making meetings more efficient. It pairs well with AI Notes to enhance productivity.
- AI Subtitles: A highly requested feature, it provides real-time translations for videos. Users can export the translated content and organize it for later use, which is especially helpful for videos without original subtitles.
Creativity AI Features
- AI Film: Tailored for digital content creators, this feature uses advanced scene recognition, composition suggestions, and music synchronization to enhance video recording. AI Film helps users easily capture professional-quality shots.
- AI Image Editing: This tool elevates photo editing with two key features: AI Image Expansion, which extends the content of an image to improve composition, and AI Erase Pro, which intelligently removes selected objects from images. Both features help users achieve cleaner, more visually striking photos.
- AI Portrait: This feature creates AI-generated avatars from users’ galleries and allows them to generate different portrait styles using simple text descriptions. It’s perfect for making fun display pictures for social media or more formal use.

Leica Summilux Optical Lens & Imaging
This phone is equipped with the Leica Summilux triple lens system, offering five focal lengths for versatile photography.
