xiaomi is slated to launch it’s xiaomi 14T series on the 26 September 2024. Speculations are readliy available about the specifications of the phone.
So far, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has appeared in Geekbench’s online database (via GSMArena), featuring MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset, continuing the series’ trend as the previous 13T Pro used the Dimensity 9200+. The tested prototype had 12GB of RAM, ran on Android 14, and achieved a single-core score of 9,369 and a multi-core score of 26,083 on Geekbench 4.4 for Android. Although the device was listed only by its model number, a prior Indonesian certification (via MySmartPrice) confirmed it as the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
Following the 14T Pro’s appearance, the Xiaomi 14T was also spotted on Geekbench (via MySmartPrice). While the 14T Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition, the Xiaomi 14T seems to be a distinct device rather than a rebranded sibling.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi 14T will likely feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, which includes ARM Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A510 CPU cores alongside a Mali-G615 MP6 GPU, aligning its performance with the POCO X6 Pro.
Additionally, a recent report from French site Dealabs suggests the Xiaomi 14T will be powered by the Dimensity 8300 Ultra, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro will feature the Dimensity 9300+, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Similar to last year’s lineup, where the Xiaomi 13T series phones differed in their chipsets—the 13T used a Dimensity 8200 Ultra, while the 13T Pro had a Dimensity 9200+—this year’s 14T series seems to follow the same pattern.
