Zero1 just posted an announcement that the MVNO will be migrating users to the 5G SA network. This seems to be a directive from IMDA that 5G NSA networks will totally be phased out by 31 Dec 2025.
The two plans that will support 5G SA is Streamo Freedom and Movemo Dash plan priced at S$15/mth and S$20/mth.
This seems to be the trend and we expect other MVNOs like CMLINK, VIVIFI and ZYM will also similar plans converted to 5G SA. As for the lower tier plans, It will most likely be 4G+ only.
To date, M1’s Maxx is the lowest priced 5G SA plan at $10/mth. Circles Life also has some promotional 5G SA plans which can be as low as $8.30 / mth.
It now remains to be seen if Starhub will enable 5G SA for it’s eight users or remain as an exclusive for Giga users.
