One of our readers sent in a screen shot of an upgrade option available in the zeroIt looks like zero1 users will soon be able to upgrade their plan to 60U 5G.

It is not known the price and data bundle. We suspect it should be similar to Gomo’s plan, offering 5G NSA at around S$25/mth.

I think, if subscribers of Zero1 are getting VoLTE turned on, the 5G plan should be ready for official launch.

We contacted Zero1 and they indicated that “we are working towards facilitating this request soon and will announce to the public once it is ready for the launch. It is at a testing stage now and will update the public once the launch is confirmed through Facebook”

If that is the case, we suspect other Singtel MVNOs will also start to offer 5G plans. This is the best way to grab market share lost to SIMBA.

Are subscribers willing to pay more for 5G plans and switch over? What about M1’s MVNOs? How abt Giga’s 5G ? Will SIMBA launch their 5G plans on 5G SA only. Comment below.

To whoever accuse us of not giving credit, this is the source of the news :

Sometimes people ought to know that information is not exclusive to one person. There are thousand of users using zero1 and we do get tip off abt issues. If readers are worried about their “exclusive” screenshot being used, just insert a special logo then.
