There are some rumours on Facebook indicating that the Droid X which is to be launched in the US market might come under the Milestone branding. Just like the Droid was known as Milestone. The Droid Xtreme could be relabelled as Milestone Xtreme for the Asia and European market for the 2nd half of this year.

The Droid X has a 4.3″ screen, HD 720p and HDMI output. It is based on Android 2.1. It will be a direct competitor to the Galaxy S and the upcoming Apple iPhone 4.

Here is how it looks like :

All I can say is I hope they decided to go this route. I was interested in the droid (milestone here in Canada) but held off because I knew they would be replacing it fairly fast with something like this it was only a matter of time. So if this comes to Canada as the Milestone X I am so all over it.

The Motorola DROID continues to present new possibilities everyday. We have had it for about 10 months and We have had a Blackberry attached to my entire body because September 1998. Becoming connected is often a essential component of my life so I’m generally reachable by household and co-workers. I am a bit addicted towards the Current market for DROID Applications. If the device had unlimited memory I would test the capacity. I think this OS would be the way on the long term and intend to grow with all of you to learn it via and by way of. Thanks for the article.
