Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) on Tuesday reported a loss of $102 million in its fourth quarter.
The Sunnyvale, California-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 10 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 10 cents per share.
The chipmaker posted revenue of $958 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $954.5 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $660 million, or 84 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.99 billion.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company’s shares hit $1.95. A year ago, they were trading at $2.39. Current Price is on the cheap at $1.92
