AMD Ryzen 5 5600: A Great New Price/Performance Option for Gamers

Another new product, delivering a great price/performance ratio for gamers, is the Ryzen 5 5600, the slightly more affordable, “little brother” of the much-praised Ryzen 5 5600X. With 6 high-performance “Zen 3” cores and 12 threads, it’s perfect for gaming at 1080p, 1440p or 4K. In comparison, the new Ryzen 5 5600 is on average 23% faster gaming than the previous generation Ryzen 5 3600 across select titles at 1080p.4

If you’re building a new system, or looking to change coolers while upgrading, the Ryzen 5 5600 includes the Wraith Stealth cooler, and at that great price you’ll be able to save some budget to spend on a higher-end graphics card or a bigger SSD to upgrade your rig even more!

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X: Great at Gaming and Productivity at just 65W

Following the popular 8 core, 16 thread Ryzen 7 3700X, we are happy to bring back this 65W power efficiency “monster” into our line-up. A great option for those who use their system for productivity as well as streaming or recording their gaming sessions, typically running multiple applications in the background. The Ryzen 7 5700X can handle it all. Also a great option for those who consider upgrading using an SFF (Small Form Factor) system, the Ryzen 7 5700X only has a TDP of 65W, meaning it will run cool & quiet during long gaming sessions and requires less extreme cooling and a lower power supply. The performance speaks for itself!

Why Upgrade Now? Higher Framerates = Better Gaming on More Games!

With all these new Ryzen 5000 Series desktop processors and the experiences they enable, we hope you’re as excited as we are. So, why should you consider making a change to your system? One of our goals was to have the AMD Socket AM4 platform supported for as long as possible. With the great architecture that is “Zen”, each generation of Ryzen products allows us to innovate, bringing new, unprecedented levels of performance, while being able to use the same AM4 platform, for over 5 years now.
