SIMBA 2.5 Gbps users are delighted that they now can join the 10 Gbps subscribers who are paying $29.99 per 30 days. Unfortunately, despite email queries to SIMBA support, the templated answer has angered many who paid a 1 year subscription upfront ($21.80 x 12) + ONT + NLT. This is because it is stated in the templated answer : Pay Prevailing 10 Gbps rate if you are not already doing so? That is to say, they are asking for $29.99 on top of what was pre paid. That would add up too $21.80+$29.99=$51.79 and it would be another 360 days contract from the day of conversion.

Here’s what they’ve updated so far, but it doesn’t clarify whether refunds for the remaining $21.80 will be issued for the unused months or if they will simply charge the difference for an upgrade. The process remains unclear, aside from confirming that they will provide a free 10 Gbps Huawei ONT.
