SiSoft Sandra 2009 Arithmetic tests

First, we compare the board’s performance by default, that is at their default Clock of 2.6GHz with memory modules running DDR3-1333 CAS 5-7-7-24-1T on both boards. Next we increase the GPU Core speed to 1GHz and sideport memory is increased to DDR3-1670. In the third test, UCC is enabled enabling the hidden core on the Phenom II X3 710, turning it into a Phenom II X4.

The same methodology is used on the Phenom II X4 960T processor. Initially it is tested as itself with 4 Cores, next is with GPU and SIdeport memory increased to 1GHz/DDR3-1670. The last benchmark is with the UCC turned on, turning the Phenom II X4 960T into a 6 core processor.

From the chart below, we can see the increase in performance when the 3 core -> 4 core, a 33% increase in Drystone and Whetstone for the Phenom II X3 710. When the UCC is enabled for Phenom II X4 960T, we see a jump in performance as well, a 49.6% increase is registered for Drystone and 43% for Whetstone.

SiSoft Sandra 2009 Multimedia tests

In the multimedia department, we can see a similar result. From X3->X4, we see a jump of 33% for the 3 categories. As for X4->X6, the difference is 49% – 50% for DoubleX4, FloatX8 and IntX16 tests.
