Mainboard Layout
The board is nicely laid with a brown PCB with blue/yellow colour scheme. On the left of the mainboard we can spot the 3 full length PCIe 2.0 slots for 3 way CrossFireX. (Single at x16 (PCIe 2) /8x (PCIE3) or dual at x8 (PCIE2) / x8 (PCIE3), PCIE 4 x4 mode). Behind it are the standard chips for GbE and audio codec from Realtek. To the right we can see a heatsink on top of the mosfets to keep things cool. Likewise the chipset is also attached with a fanless heatsink. Behind the heatsink are chipsets from ASmedia for DVI, HDMI out and eSATA.
To the bottom left of the mainboard, we can see the power on/off, reset and debug led. These are important features that must not be left out on any board. The chipset supports the front connecting 6 SATA6 Gbps ports. The two other ports are supported by another ASmedia chip. To the right are 4 DIMM slots supporting DDR3-2500 (OC), max 32GB.
6 SATA 6Gbps ports supported by A75 FCH with RAID 0,1,10,NCQ,AHCI feature. another 2 ports are supportted by ASMedia ASM1061 chipset, supports NCQ AHCI and Hot plug (SATA3_a2 connector is shared with eSATA3 port).
The back panel consists of PS2/keyboard/mouse connector, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 1 DSUB, 1 DVI D, 1 HDMI, Clear CMOS, 2 USB 2.0, 1394, eSATA, GbE and audio ports.
